It was originally a satellite office for his larger ophthalmology practice in Toledo, Ohio. He hired a local optometrist from Oak Harbor, Bobby Ford, OD, who worked here for 4 years. Dr. Levin eventually sold Oak Harbor Family Eyecare to a different optometrist, Ramie Dick, OD. The practice was now a satellite office for Dr. Dick’s larger optometry practice in Sandusky, Ohio. Dr. Dick employed several optometrists: John Pole, OD, James Kershaw, OD, Jim Beisner, OD, and David George, OD. In 1976, Dr. Dick sold Oak Harbor Family Eyecare to Dennis R. Laub, OD. At the end of his career, Dr. Laub also employed several optometrists: Bill Kegerize, OD, Nick Pieffer, OD, and Tia Tucker, OD. In 2014, Dr. Laub sold Oak Harbor Family Eyecare to Russell A Maringer, OD, MS.
